"Old Country" is Asetha's fourth full-length, studio album. It is a collection of 10 Classic Country songs that Asetha recalls her mom singing around the house while doing the cooking and cleaning. In honor of those precious memories, "Old Country" is set for release on what would be her mom Verna's 72nd birthday, June 12, 2024.
Old Country continues to be the music that connects Asetha to her beloved mother as they'd always watch the Grand Ol' Opry together. One year Santa brought Asetha a Winnie the Pooh record player, complete with microphone, to sing along to all the country greats. The following year, at her kindergarten graduation, Asetha dressed in a corduroy vest and skirt with a white blouse embroidered with flowers. In her heart and soul, she believed that when she grew up she would be a country singer, just like Dolly.
